Sukhdi or Gol Papdi or whole Wheat Burfi

Sukhdi is originally from the state of Gujarat in India. it is a snack like biscuits. It can be chewy or soft depending on taste. To make soft remove the pan from fire after the flour is roasted, then add jaggery mix well and transfer into a greased pan. To make chewy  lower the heat to minimum, add jaggery and mix for 2 minutes on fire then transfer into tray. Cut into diamond shape or squares pieces before it cools down. I used soft jaggery, if it is hard type shred it before hand.

Method

Roast whole wheat flour.

Add ginger and cardamom powders.

Add jaggery.

Transfer into a greased deep pizza pan

Cut into 1 inch pieces .
