Method:
Select only whole mung.
Wash and soak in hot water for 12 hours or till the skin starts cracking.
Transfer into colander to drain off water, cover mung with a wet kitchen cloth.
Leave the colander in a dark warm place for 24 hours.
Remove unsprouted mung as they are difficult to cook.
Wash once with cold water and drain off the water,
Add salt, turmeric and 3 table spoon of water, mix well cover with tight lid.
Cook in microwave for 4 minutes.
Saute cumin seeds, add chopped garlic cook till golden.
Add cooked mung sprouts and mix, let excess of water evaporate and mung sprout are dry.
Add coriander leaves, salt and chilly to taste.
This is a very easy to make recipe and requires only few ingredients, it’s nutritious and tasty… a winner in our house!
