Lots of calories but is delicious, my sons’ favorite.
Method:
Mix flour, 3 Tsp ghee and 1/4 cup milk, mix well between palms, sieve the flour in a medium whole sive leave it covered for 5 to 6 hours.
Add 2cups of ghee and 1 tea spoon of cardamom. Cook for half an hour on low heat till reddish in color.
Remove from heat and let it cool to look warm then add sugar and saffron.
Mix well and spread it in a round 10 inche diameter pizza tray or in a square tray.
Spread rest of the cardamom and if preferred chopped almonds without skin, on the top of magas.
Cut into squares after it is cold, remove and store in a tight container. Can be stored for months.
